My Story
Hi, I’m Elizabeth Colley, a dedicated postpartum doula offering essential doula services to support women and families through their postpartum journey. My desire to serve women has always been strong, but it was my own experience with postpartum that truly guided me on how to help others.
My introduction to motherhood was filled with challenges, including severe postpartum anxiety and depression, making those early months a blur. Throughout that time, one question lingered in my mind: How do families with little to no support navigate this? I was fortunate to have an incredible support system, but I understand that this is not the reality for everyone. This experience fueled my passion for family care, as I aim to bridge the gap for families so they can experience postpartum as it should be—a tender and meaningful season filled with beauty, even amidst challenges.
That’s why I am honored to be a certified Toledo Ohio postpartum doula, helping create an environment where families feel peaceful, supported, seen, and cared for as they adjust to life with their little one(s).

Professional Background
I am a certified postpartum doula specializing in doula services, with a strong background in Counseling and Psychology. I hold a B.A. in Psychology and an Associate’s degree in Christian Counseling. Through my studies and my work with local nonprofits, I developed valuable skills in active listening and being fully present, which are essential for providing effective postpartum support. These experiences have taught me to sit comfortably with families in their hardest moments and offer them a sense of peace. Additionally, I bring a spirit of hospitality and efficiency from my time at Chick-fil-A, which I now apply to my family care approach as a Toledo Ohio postpartum doula.
